Re-release DVDs Edited with Book: A Mediocre Attempt Or Not?...

This Collector's Item features Just Dance: Ultimate Review edited [minimally] or Lady Gaga: Behind the Poker Face plus a book [see pictures]. If you do not own any of those 2 products then this is a nice book and DVD set for any beginning newcomer or non-fan to get to know Lady Gaga.The book covers the basics that many have already seen or heard about like Lady Gaga's background, rise to super stardom, beginnings, and more. Is there anything out of the ordinary here? Not in my viewpoint. Everything I read I had already known so it was a basic confirmation of what I already knew.The DVD 1 and 2 is a complete duplicate of Behind The Poker Face Documentary and Just Dance 3 Disc set on links above with some editing. What is edited? For starters Disc 1 is 30 minutes titled Part 1 and Disc 2 is the remaining 30 minutes. In other words, both discs combined are a duplicate of those other documentaries mentioned above that are 60 minutes on 1 disc. However, it has exactly 10 more minutes than the other 2 documentaries and the Disc 3 Interview Disc has 10 more minutes with 2 added clips; 1 from a Germany talk where she has 3 awards and she is addressing the German audience of paparazzi and another from the UK where she is in her MAC for AIDS series [very short clip]. The interview gets completely cut off in that last one as the interviewee asks a question and the disc stops. Other differences is that the music that was on the other 2 sets that was Lady Gaga songs not sung by her are removed, the Madonna overly long clip with Vogue performance is cut off. For full details of the 3 Discs or 1 Disc my other review titled, Just Dance: Ultimate Review will give you much more detail. None of the 3 releases contain a menu to select chapter to view.In short, the book is what you will be getting that you may not have already considering if you are a die-hard fan or collector. I have attached pictures for you to see. The contents [see photo] features Who is Lady Gaga?, life and childhood, Jonathan Ross Interview, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, and the future to name a few. This will take you to the Fame Monster era not including her newer album titled Born This Way (Special Edition). The song, "Speechless" is mentioned and there are black and white photos as well as colored. Overall, if you don't own those 2 DVDs or know much about Lady Gaga this may be to your liking. If you have the documentaries and have other books then this may be an unnecessary purchase.

Not that good !

Received the Lady Gagga - Love Games book and DVD set, it was as a gift for our daughter. Having said that, I am just a big a fan of LG as my daughter, probably more so.The actualy book is very nice, and a high quality 'coffee table' type book.The 4 x DVD's are not that interesting, they look to be old footage and they go over the same things over and over again ! it looked to me as though they were trying to 'bulk' information and spread it out for the sake of being able to claim 4 x DVD's in the set.We are looking forward to seeing DVD's of LG's Monster Ball consert in NY.

I just brought this lovely book!really well presented and a good addition to my collectionwith 4 dvds toogood pictures and a great over all view to the history of LADY GAGA.
