DO NOT BUY!!! States wrong words very confusing for a toddler!!

I bought this book based on reviews on here and was massively dissapointed my 1 year old son was playing with it all of 20 mins before the words got mixed up!! Instead of saying boat for example it started saying flower and same for the other buttons....I bought this to help him learn his words however I have had to hide this now as dont want him thinking a duck is called flower!!! Massively wrong!! Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Words got mixed up after a few uses

I have exactly the same problem. My Usborne sound books have undergone some heavy handling but still work perfectly. This particular book got the sounds/words mixed up after a few uses and with no heavy handling.

Faulty within 2 months - says the wrong words

Like several other reviewers have already said, this book breaks way too easily. Ours is now messed up so that pressing the 'duck' button makes it say "apple", pressing 'flower' it says "ball", pressing 'train' it does nothing at all... confusing and frustrating for a child. It absolutely did NOT get any heavy impact or water damage or anything like that- it got completely normal use, and within two months of being bought, it went wrong. Extremely unimpressive.Our daughter originally was very keen on it but now that it's gotten the words messed up, it's just a waste of space.
