Another great read by Mark Russinovich

Another fantastic book by Mark Russinovich.. I have read all 3 now and would highly recommend them all; I particularly like that the technical detail is realistic and accurate, as it gets so annoying that many books and films exagerate too much on the technical side to the extent that it ruins the story knowing its just not possible. Mark has really created a solid couple of core characters that you really bond with and this, along with the gripping story line, really means this is a book you will struggle to put down..

In the third Mark Russinovich novel he pits his hero Jeff Aiken against a criminal conspiracy to exploit computerised High Frequency Stock trading on the New York Stock Exchange an act that could bring the worlds financial markets crashing, In a highly accurate almost "real world" scenario Mark Russinovich highlights the dangers that unregulated and unrestricted computerised trading that could take place in the real world, leading to a global financial meltdown that gives me as a non-investor in stock pause for thought and does remind me of the introduction to Arthur C. Clarke's "Rama II".In whole a storming, rollercoaster ride of a novel that I couldn't put down and read in a single session, for anyone thats not read one of the Jeff Aiken series before I whole heartedly recommend this book for any fans of the techno thriller genre.
